What makes our breeding program unique?

My dams and sires are loved and cared for like our pets! They get the best vet care, snuggles, and kisses just like our pets have always received. Also, every one of them are AKC registered so you can be sure that your new little bundle will be registered as well.

My love for this breed originated when I rescued Rudy (aka Rudolph) from the animal shelter. He came to me with a rough past in his short 2 years of life. We could tell he had not been loved and cared for like he deserved. That all changed when he came home with me. He was my constant companion from the start.  

Rudy was such a smart little guy. At one point, I became very sick during the night. I awoke to his licks on my cheek. I was having a hard time breathing and called for an ambulance. Ultimately, I was entering respiratory distress. He saved my life! If he hadn’t awoken me, I would’ve passed in my sleep.

Eventually, it was decided that Rudy needed a friend. Enter, Rocky, into the family. They became fast friends. When Rudy became very sick, and vet care could no longer help, the only humane option was to euthanize him. Rocky missed him terribly.

I decided when I retire, I would breed these awesome dogs so that more people could experience the joy of owning a mini dachshund.
